In conjunction with the release of The Artist Cookbook Vol. 2, contributing artists (along with a few of our friends from Vol. 1) made drawings on dinner and side plates. These plates will be sold during two online auctions in November 2021 with the proceeds from this project to benefit the crucial and urgent work that FoodShare does!

  • The SIDE Plate Auction will CLOSE on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 9 PM (EST).

  • Through the support of fundraisers such as this one, important advances have been made to make our food system one that is more equitable. Everyone deserves access to affordable, fresh, nutritious food. FoodShare has been a leader in the food movement since 1985, they focus on food justice by working to dismantle oppressive structures that hold poverty and food insecurity in place. To that end, FoodShare collaborates with and takes cue from those most affected by poverty and food insecurity—Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, People with Disabilities. Together advocating for bold public policy interventions, offering innovative food education and nutrition programs, and increasing access to fresh, nutritious food. Each year FoodShare reaches over 260,000 people.
